of <h1>India Maintains 30% Basic Customs Duty on Whey Products under Amended Notification No. 44/2018-Customs.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has issued Notification No. 44/2018-Customs to amend Notification No. 50/2017-Customs dated 30th June 2017. This amendment maintains the Basic Customs Duty (BCD) rate at 30% for Whey products, specifically concentrated, evaporated, or condensed, in liquid or semi-solid forms (0404 10 10), and other whey products (0404 90 00). This decision is made under the powers conferred by the Customs Act, 1962, and the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, in the public interest.
