of <h1>Amendment Clarifies Excise Notification: Excludes Goods Made Before Feb 1, 2018, But Cleared After Feb 2, 2018.</h1> The Central Government has issued an amendment to Notification No. 7/2018-Central Excise, dated February 2, 2018, under Notification No. 14/2018-Central Excise. This amendment clarifies that the provisions of the original notification do not apply to goods manufactured on or before February 1, 2018, but cleared on or after February 2, 2018. This clarification is made under the authority of the Central Excise Act, 1944, and the Finance Act, 1998.
