<h1>Government Rescinds 1999 Customs Notification Using Section 9A of Customs Tariff Act and Rule 13 of 1995 Rules</h1> The Central Government has rescinded Notification No. 116/99-Customs, dated October 14, 1999, through Notification No. 43/2000-Customs, issued on April 11, 2000. This action is taken under the authority granted by sub-section (2) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, in conjunction with rule 13 of the Customs Tariff Rules, 1995, which pertain to the identification, assessment, and collection of anti-dumping duties. The rescinded notification was originally published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Subsection (i).
