of <h1>Anti-dumping duties imposed on Polystyrene from Hong Kong, Singapore, and Thailand under Customs Tariff Act, 1975.</h1> The notification imposes anti-dumping duties on Polystyrene originating from or exported by any exporter in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Thailand. The duties are applied to High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) and General Purpose Polystyrene (GPPS) under Chapter 39 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. The duties are set at different rates per metric ton: Hong Kong (GPPS: 1822 INR, HIPS: 4878 INR), Singapore (GPPS: 494 INR, HIPS: 785 INR), and Thailand (GPPS: 5649 INR, HIPS: 9236 INR). Imports from China PR are not subjected to these duties due to minimal impact. The duties are effective from October 14, 1999.
