of <h1>Telangana Village Gets 2.02-Hectare SEZ for IT Services, Effective December 2017, Under SEZ Act 2005.</h1> The Central Government has notified a 2.02-hectare area in Raidurg Panmaktha village, Serilingampally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, Telangana, as a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for Information Technology and IT Enabled Services, proposed by a private developer. This notification follows the fulfillment of requirements under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. An Approval Committee has been constituted to oversee the SEZ, comprising various government officials and a representative from the zone's developer. The SEZ is effective from December 26, 2017, and is designated as an Inland Container Depot under the Customs Act, 1962.
