of <h1>India Updates Bill of Entry Forms Under Customs Act 1962, Sections 157 & 46, Effective Immediately.</h1> The Bill of Entry (Forms) (Amendment) Regulations, 2017, issued by the Government of India's Ministry of Finance, amends the Bill of Entry (Forms) Regulations, 1976. Effective upon publication in the Official Gazette, the amendment replaces Form I, Form II, and Form III with new forms. These changes are enacted under the authority of sections 157 and 46 of the Customs Act, 1962. The principal regulations have undergone several amendments since their initial publication in 1976, with the most recent amendment before this being in March 2017.
