of <h1>Customs Notification Update: New Loading/Unloading Locations in Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu per Customs Act, 1962.</h1> Notification No. 64/2017-Customs (N.T.) issued by the Central Board of Excise and Customs amends the earlier notification No. 12/97-CUSTOMS (N.T.) dated April 2, 1997. The amendment adds new locations for customs operations. In Maharashtra, Village Bhambholi, Taluka Khed, District Pune is designated for unloading imported goods and loading export goods. Similarly, in Tamil Nadu, Valayankulam Village, Madurai is designated for the same customs activities. These changes are made under the authority granted by the Customs Act, 1962.
