of <h1>Kannur International Airport Designated as Customs Airport u/s 7 of Customs Act for Import/Export Operations.</h1> The Government of India, through the Central Board of Excise and Customs, has amended Notification No. 61/94-Customs to designate Kannur International Airport as a Customs Airport under section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962. This amendment allows for the unloading of imported goods and the loading of export goods at Kannur International Airport. The amendment is part of Notification No. 56/2017-Customs (N.T.), issued on June 23, 2017, by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue. This update follows previous amendments, with the last being Notification No. 83/2016-Customs (N.T.).
