India Extends Anti-Dumping Duty on Gypsum Boards from China, Indonesia, Thailand, UAE Until June 2018.
The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has extended the anti-dumping duty (ADD) on imports of 'Plain Gypsum Plaster Boards' from China, Indonesia, Thailand, and the UAE. Originally imposed by notification No. 06/2013, Customs (ADD) dated April 12, 2013, and published in the Gazette of India, this duty is extended for one year, up to June 6, 2018. This decision follows a review initiated by the designated authority under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, and the relevant rules, to assess the continuation of the duty to prevent dumping and injury to domestic industry.
