<h1>India Revises Tariff Values for Palm Oils, Brass Scrap, Gold, Silver, and More Under Notification No. 42/2017-CUSTOMS.</h1> The Government of India, through the Central Board of Excise and Customs, has issued Notification No. 42/2017-CUSTOMS (N.T.) on April 28, 2017, revising tariff values for certain goods under the Customs Act, 1962. The notification amends a previous notification from August 3, 2001, and sets new tariff values for various items including crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, crude palmolein, RBD palmolein, crude soybean oil, brass scrap, poppy seeds, gold, silver, and areca nuts. These values are specified in US dollars per metric tonne or per specified unit for gold and silver.
