of <h1>India Amends Companies Registration of Charges Rules 2017; New Forms for CHG-1, CHG-4, CHG-9 Introduced.</h1> The Ministry of Corporate Affairs of the Government of India issued a notification on April 7, 2017, amending the Companies (Registration of Charges) Rules, 2014. These amendments, known as the Companies (Registration of Charges) Amendment Rules, 2017, were enacted under the authority of the Companies Act, 2013. The changes involve the substitution of new forms for Form No. CHG-1, Form No. CHG-4, and Form No. CHG-9 in the principal rules. The amendments take effect from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
