of <h1>India Amends FTP 2015-2020: Exporters Can Obtain Gold, Silver, Platinum from Nominated Agencies Pre or Post Export.</h1> The Central Government of India has amended Paragraph 4.34(i) of Chapter 4 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2015-2020. This amendment allows exporters of gold, silver, and platinum jewellery and related articles to obtain these precious metals from a Nominated Agency either in advance or as replenishment after export. If CENVAT credit on these metals has been availed and the products are exported with rebate, replenishment is permitted provided the duty-free inputs are used to manufacture dutiable goods in the same facility where the exported products were made. The sale or transfer of these duty-free inputs is prohibited.
