<h1>Govt Appoints Assistant Legal Advisors as Special Prosecutors for Money-Laundering Cases Nationwide under PMLA 2002.</h1> The Central Government, through the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, has appointed Assistant Legal Advisors from the Directorate of Enforcement as Special Public Prosecutors under the Prevention of Money-Laundering Act, 2002. This appointment is made to conduct cases on behalf of the Directorate before Special Courts across India. The notification, dated March 6, 2014, lists the appointed individuals and is issued under the authority of the relevant sections of the Prevention of Money-Laundering Act and the Code of Criminal Procedure. This notification has been superseded by a subsequent notification dated December 6, 2024.
