The position is classified under General Central Services, Group A, Gazetted, Non-ministerial, with a Pay Band of Rs. 15,600 - Rs. 39,100 and Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400. Recruitment will be through deputation, including short-term contracts, from officers in Central or State Governments, Union Territories, or similar bodies. Eligibility includes holding analogous posts or specific years of service in designated pay bands, alongside a law degree and relevant experience. The maximum age for deputation is 56 years.
