of <h1>Central Government Extends Ambuja Cement Foundation's Rural Development Project in Gujarat u/s 35AC for Two More Years.</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the Integrated Rural Development Programme by the Ambuja Cement Foundation in Kodinar Taluka, Amreli District, Gujarat, as an eligible project under Section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially approved for two years starting from the assessment year 1995-96, the project is now extended for another two years starting from the assessment year 1997-98. The project, with an estimated cost of INR 76.42 lakhs, includes activities in irrigation, agriculture, animal husbandry, mobile dispensary, environment conservation, non-conventional energy, soil conservation, and desalination.
