of <h1>Shivanand Mission's Projects u/s 35AC Extended for Two More Years, Supporting Health and Education Initiatives in Gujarat.</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of Shivanand Mission's projects under Section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961, for two additional assessment years (1997-98 and 1998-99). The projects include free eye camps in Saurashtra and Gujarat, mobile services and health education around Virnagar, Rajkot, a hostel for ladies at Virnagar, and the construction of low-cost latrines in 15 villages of Rajkot. Initially approved for two years starting from the assessment year 1995-96, the extension follows a recommendation by the National Committee, confirming the projects' satisfactory execution.
