Initially approved for two years starting from the assessment year 1996-97, the project involves land development, construction, furnishing, and provision of equipment/medicines for Vishwabalak Kendra in Mumbai. Following a recommendation by the National Committee, the project is now specified as eligible for an additional two assessment years, 1998-99 and 1999-2000, with an estimated cost of 119.72 lakh rupees.
