of <h1>Central Government Extends Manavseva Project for Childhood Blindness Until 2018 u/s 35AC of Income-tax Act.</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the 'Manavseva Crusade against Childhood Blindness' project by Manavseva Lokkalyan Mahasangh, Nagpur, Maharashtra, for an additional three years under section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially approved in 2009 and extended in 2012, the project will continue from the financial years 2015-16 to 2017-18. The project cost remains unchanged at Rs. 4.93 crore. The extension follows a recommendation by the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare, affirming the project's proper execution.
