Initially approved for three years ending in the financial year 2014-15, the project will continue for an additional three years from 2015-16 to 2017-18. The estimated cost remains Rs. 12.95 crore, including a corpus fund of Rs. 3 crore. This extension follows a recommendation by the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare, confirming the project's proper execution.
