Advance Rulings Authority established to issue authoritative customs tariff guidance and provide clarity on classification and exemptions. The Central Government constitutes the Authority for advance Rulings to give binding guidance on customs tariff classification, applicability of tariff provisions and exemption notifications, and fixes the Authority's office at New Delhi, establishing an administrative mechanism for pre transaction rulings on customs treatment.
