India Revises Customs Tariff Values for Oils, Metals, and More: Notification No. 135/2015-CUSTOMS (N.T.) Issued

The Government of India, through the Central Board of Excise & Customs, issued Notification No. 135/2015-CUSTOMS (N.T.) on November 30, 2015, amending Notification No. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.) from August 3, 2001. This amendment involves the substitution of tariff values for various goods, including crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, crude palmolein, RBD palmolein, crude soybean oil, brass scrap, poppy seeds, gold, silver, and areca nuts. The revised tariff values are specified in three tables, detailing the applicable US dollar rates per metric tonne or per unit for these goods.
