of <h1>India Updates Tariff Values for Palm Oil, Brass, Gold, Silver, and More Under Customs Act, 1962</h1> The Government of India's Ministry of Finance, through the Central Board of Excise and Customs, issued Notification No. 108/2015-CUSTOMS (N.T.) on November 13, 2015. This notification amends a previous notification from August 3, 2001, by updating the tariff values for various goods under the Customs Act, 1962. The revised tariff values include crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, crude soya bean oil, brass scrap, poppy seeds, gold, silver, and areca nuts. These amendments are made to reflect necessary changes in the valuation of these commodities for customs purposes.
