of <h1>New Member Appointed to Competition Appellate Tribunal u/ss 53C and 53F of Competition Act, 2002.</h1> The Central Government has appointed an individual as a Member of the Competition Appellate Tribunal, effective from September 28, 2015. This appointment is made under the authority of sections 53C and 53F of the Competition Act, 2002. The tenure is for five years, or until the appointee reaches the age of 65, or until further orders, whichever comes first. The service terms will adhere to the Competition Appellate Tribunal Rules, 2009, regarding salaries, allowances, and other conditions.
