of <h1>Govt Extends Project for Empowering Blind Children in NCR Under Section 35AC; No Tax Exemption for 2014-15.</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the project 'Limiting limitations-empowerment of blind children, NCR region,' managed by an organization in New Delhi, under Section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially approved for three years ending in the financial year 2013-14, the project is now extended for an additional three years, covering 2014-15, 2015-16, and 2016-17, with an unchanged estimated cost of 1.51 crore. However, no tax exemption certificate will be issued for the financial year 2014-15 as it has already lapsed.
