Initially recognized in 2004, the project has received several extensions and is now approved for an additional three years starting from the financial year 2015-16. The project's estimated cost has been revised from 901.02 lakh, including a corpus fund of 219.19 lakh, to 2398.32 lakh, with a corpus of 319.19 lakh, as recommended by the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare.
