of <h1>Hyderabad Charitable Trust's Project for Old Age Homes Gets 3-Year Extension Under Section 35AC of Income-tax Act</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of a project by a charitable trust in Hyderabad under Section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially approved in 2013 for enhancing activities for old age homes benefiting SC/ST/OBC and below poverty line individuals, the project was set for three years at a cost of 446.83 lakh. The National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare recommended its continuation, and it is now approved for an additional three years starting from the financial year 2015-16 through 2017-18, maintaining the same budget.
