of <h1>Central Government Extends School Project for Deaf & Dumb Students in Gujarat Under Section 35AC of Income-tax Act</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the project 'Expansion & running the school for deaf & dumb students' by a Gujarat-based trust under section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially approved for three years ending in the financial year 2012-13, the project is now extended for another three years, covering 2013-14, 2014-15, and 2015-16, with an unchanged estimated cost of 1.90 crore. However, due to the lapse of the financial years 2013-14 and 2014-15, no certificates for those years will be issued under section 35AC.
