of <h1>Govt Extends Eligibility of Andhra Pradesh Projects Under Section 35AC, Supporting Leprosy Eradication Until 2015-16</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of various projects managed by an organization in Andhra Pradesh under section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially approved for three years ending in the financial year 2012-13, these projects, including leprosy eradication and health intervention initiatives, will continue for another three years from 2013-14 to 2015-16. The projects, conducted by the organization at a cost of 15.41 crore, have been deemed properly executed by the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare, warranting this extension without any change in the estimated cost.
