Initially notified in 2009 and extended in 2012, the project is now approved for an additional three years, covering financial years 2013-14 to 2015-16. The project cost remains unchanged at 37 crore, following a recommendation by the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare, confirming the project's proper execution.
