of <h1>Central Govt Extends Eligibility of Solapur Project for Nomadic Tribals under Section 35AC, Income-tax Act, 1961</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the project 'Uplift Downtroddens' providing health, food & education to Nomadic Tribal' by Solapur Zilla Magas Samaj Seva, Va Sanshodhan Sanstha as an eligible scheme under Section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially approved for three years from the financial year 2010-11, the project is now extended for an additional three years, covering 2013-14 to 2015-16, with an estimated cost of 583.63 lakh, including a corpus fund of 1 crore, as recommended by the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare.
