of <h1>Central Government Extends Rehabilitation Project in Manipur for Three More Years Under Section 35AC of Income-tax Act</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the 'Rehabilitation Centre for the needy children, youth, women, aged and AIDS/HIV/STD control' project by Naotoumai Rural Development Association, located in Senapati District, Manipur, for another three years. Initially approved in 2007 for three years and extended in 2010, the project will now continue from the financial years 2013-14 to 2015-16. The project remains at an estimated cost of 10.42 crore, as recommended by the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare, under section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961.
