Tax incentive for charitable projects extended: specified hospital and education expansion re-specified for a further three-year period. The Central Government, on the National Committee's recommendation that the charitable hospital and educational expansion project is being executed properly, re-specifies the scheme carried out by The Gujarat Sarvajanik Welfare Trust as an eligible project for the income-tax incentive for a further three-year period commencing with 2014-15, without any change to the previously approved project cost.
