of <h1>Central Government Extends Banjara Development Society Project for Chenchu Tribals in Andhra Pradesh Under Section 35AC</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of a project by the Banjara Development Society in Andhra Pradesh under Section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially approved for three years ending in the financial year 2013-14, the project aims to improve the health status of the Chenchu tribal group in the Nallamallai forest areas of Kurnool and Prakasham districts. The National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare recommended extending the project for another three years, from 2014-15 to 2016-17, maintaining the original estimated cost of 1.15 crore.
