of <h1>Retired Justice Appointed Chairperson of Competition Appellate Tribunal u/ss 53C and 53F for Five-Year Term.</h1> The Central Government has appointed a retired justice as the Chairperson of the Competition Appellate Tribunal, effective from September 25, 2014, for a term of five years or until the age of 68, whichever comes first. This appointment is made under the authority of sections 53C and 53F of the Competition Act, 2002. The service terms and conditions for the Chairperson will adhere to the Competition Appellate Tribunal Rules, 2009, as amended.
