of <h1>79.73 hectares added to Multi Product SEZ as expansion, raising total notified area to 1289.4422 hectares</h1> An additional 79.73 hectares is notified for inclusion in the Multi Product Special Economic Zone at Jamnagar, Gujarat, as an expansion of the existing notified area under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006. The total notified area of the SEZ is thereby increased from 1209.7122 hectares to 1289.4422 hectares, with the added land drawn from specified parcels in the villages of Navagam, Kanachikari, Padana, and Kanalus. The operative effect is that the newly included area forms part of the SEZ for all purposes under the SEZ legal framework.
