India Extends Anti-Dumping Duties on Singapore Polypropylene Until July 2015 to Protect Domestic Industries
The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has extended the validity of Notification No. 119/2010-Customs, originally dated November 19, 2010, which imposes anti-dumping duties on polypropylene imported from Singapore. This extension is effective until July 29, 2015, unless revoked earlier. The notification follows a review initiated by the designated authority as per the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, and related rules, aiming to continue the anti-dumping measures to protect domestic industries from injury due to dumped imports. The amendment is published in the Gazette of India under Notification No. 38/2014-Customs (ADD).
