        <h1>Exemption scope narrowed: finished telecom goods excluded while inputs for their manufacture qualify for concessional import on procedural compliance.</h1> The notification excludes specified finished telecom and networking products from the general exemption and inserts a new entry exempting all goods imported for the manufacture of those listed telecom products, provided the importer follows the procedure set out in the Customs (Import of Goods at Concessional Rate of Duty for Manufacture of Excisable Goods) Rules, 1996.
