This amendment, effective from March 1, 2016, introduces changes to the customs tariff as part of budgetary adjustments. Specifically, it modifies the exemption list under serial number 39 to exclude certain items from the category of 'All goods.' These items include chargers or adapters, batteries, wired headsets and speakers for mobile handsets, and solar tempered glass or solar tempered anti-reflective coated glass. This amendment is made under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962.
