of <h1>Amendment Allows Companies to Accept Deposits Without Insurance Until March 31, 2015, Under Sections 73 and 76</h1> The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has issued an amendment to the Companies (Acceptance of Deposits) Rules, 2014, under the Companies Act, 2013. Effective from its publication date, the amendment allows companies to accept deposits without a deposit insurance contract until March 31, 2015. This change is made under the authority of Sections 73 and 76, along with Section 469(1) of the Act.
