of <h1>Amendment to Companies Deposit Rules: Return or Allot Shares by June 1, 2015; Update Form DPT-3 and Ratings Required.</h1> The Companies (Acceptance of Deposits) Amendment Rules, 2015, issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, amend the 2014 rules under the Companies Act, 2013. Effective from their publication date, the amendments include provisions for companies to either return or allot shares for amounts received before April 1, 2014, by June 1, 2015. Companies must obtain annual credit ratings for deposits and submit these with Form DPT-3. The amendments allow accepting deposits without insurance until March 31, 2016, or until an insurance product becomes available. Changes to Form DPT-3 detail company information, deposit particulars, and credit ratings.
