of <h1>Government Approves IT Special Economic Zone in Indore, Madhya Pradesh; To Operate Under SEZ Act, 2005 Provisions</h1> The Central Government has approved the establishment of a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for information technology and IT-enabled services in Village-Badiyakima, District-Indore, Madhya Pradesh, proposed by a private company. The SEZ, covering 10 hectares, has fulfilled the necessary requirements under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. An Approval Committee has been constituted, comprising various government officials and representatives, to oversee the SEZ's development, operation, and maintenance. The SEZ is designated as an inland Container Depot from February 5, 2013, under the Customs Act, 1962.
