This expansion, approved by the Board of Approval on October 10, 2006, includes areas from Duwada, Kurmannapalam, Jaccarajupeta, and Narava villages in Visakhapatnam District. The notification was issued under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2003, and the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, as part of efforts to enhance the SEZ's capacity.
