of <h1>Central Government Extends Infrastructure Development Project for Disabled and SC Community u/s 35AC of Income-tax Act.</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of a project for infrastructure development aimed at supporting the educational, vocational, medical, social, and economic development of the disabled and SC community. This project, managed by a Social Service Centre in Chennai, was initially recognized under section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961, and has been extended for an additional three years starting from the financial year 2012-13. The project will continue with an approved cost of Rs. 2.62 crore, following the recommendation of the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare.
