of <h1>Central Government Extends Dayasagar Rural Hospital Project Eligibility Under Section 35AC, Income-tax Act, Until 2016</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the 'Dayasagar Rural Hospital' project, managed by an anonymous social organization in Thane, under section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially notified in 2010 for a three-year term ending in the 2012-13 financial year, the project has been approved for an additional three years, covering the financial years 2013-14 to 2015-16. The project remains at an estimated cost of Rs. 7.49 crore, following a positive recommendation from the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare.
