of <h1>Central Government Extends Delhi Child Welfare Schemes Under Section 35AC for Three More Years</h1> The Central Government has extended the notification of various welfare schemes by the Delhi Council for Child Welfare, including training centers, orthopedic services, and programs for children in need, under section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially approved in 2007 for Rs. 10.83 crore and extended in 2010, the schemes are now further extended for three years from 2013-14 to 2015-16. The National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare recommended this extension, confirming the projects' proper execution without any change in the approved cost.
