<h1>Government Extends Tax Benefits for Aurangabad Rural Clinics and Hostels Project Under Section 35AC for Three More Years</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the project 'Mobile Clinics in rural area and Hostel for rural students,' carried out by an educational organization in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, under section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially notified in 2010 for a three-year period starting 2009-10, the project is now approved for an additional three years, covering 2012-13 to 2014-15. The approved cost remains at Rs. 5.13 crore, including a corpus fund of Rs. 4.15 crore. This extension follows a recommendation by the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare.
