The project includes initiatives like free diagnostic camps, physiotherapy treatment, a fashion design training center, an audiology and speech therapy center, and more. Initially approved for three years starting in the financial year 2009-10, the project is now extended for another three years, covering 2012-13 to 2014-15, with an unchanged approved cost of Rs. 1.54 crore. This decision follows a recommendation from the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare.
