of <h1>Central Government Approves IT and BPO SEZ in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, Covering 40.468 Hectares</h1> The Central Government has approved the establishment of a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for Information Technology and IT Enabled Services/BPO/KPO at Village Bada Bangarda and Tigariya Badshah, Tehsil Hatod, District Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The SEZ, proposed by a major consultancy firm, has met the necessary requirements under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The designated area covers 40.468 hectares. An Approval Committee has been constituted to oversee the SEZ, comprising various government officials and a developer representative. The SEZ is recognized as an Inland Container Depot effective from July 5, 2013, under the Customs Act, 1962.
