of <h1>Delhi VAT Act Update: Dealers under Section 16 must label invoices with 'Composition Dealer' and 'Not eligible to charge VAT.'</h1> The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi has issued a notification under the Delhi Value Added Tax Act, 2004. Dealers who have opted to pay tax under section 16 must now include the words 'Composition Dealer' and 'Not eligible to charge VAT on Bill' at the top of their retail invoices. This requirement is effective immediately. The notification was issued by the Commissioner of Value Added Tax and disseminated to relevant government officials and departments for implementation and publication in the Delhi Gazette Extraordinary.
