of <h1>Society for Reconstructive Surgery Rehabilitation and Research approved under Section 35(1)(ii) of Income-tax Act for research funding.</h1> The Society for Reconstructive Surgery Rehabilitation and Research in Bombay has been approved as an institution under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, effective from April 1, 1987, to March 31, 1989. The approval by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research requires the Society to maintain separate accounts for scientific research funds, submit annual scientific research activity returns by May 31, and provide audited annual accounts by June 30 to the prescribed authority and relevant tax officials. Additionally, the Society must apply for approval extension three months before expiry, with late applications subject to rejection.
